DrumKits from The Thrillseekers.co.uk

For close to 10 years now, The Thrillseekers have been at the forefront of the world's dance scene. The story started back in 1999, where, with a relatively basic home studio Steve Helstrip constructed the trance milestone that is "Synaesthesia". Signed and released by Neo Records in 1999, at the height of the trance explosion, it has gone on to sell over 1,000,000 copies, across its numerous, repeated worldwide releases.

He's worked with pioneers like Trevor Horn, shared co-production credits with Chicane and co-wrote on Ferry Corsten’s Grammy award winning ‘Right of Way’ album. He has remixed Tiesto and Armin, amongst many others, and reworked Sonique’s "Feels So Good" into a worldwide, No. 1 record.

Why am i writing this ? :) At http://www.thethrillseekers.co.uk you can find very nice message board where Steve Helstrip posts a lot. Registered members (free registration of course) can freely download Drum Kits (in WAV format) used for productions such as "The Last Time", "Circa Forever", "By Your Side", Basses etc. There are, naturally, nice tips by Steve:
I generally use 3 or 4 pads layered, to create a big, spacious sound. Another trick is to play the chords 1 octave above and below the main chord, but mixed in much quieter (not always necessary, though). My pads are a collection of samples, and hardware synths. I rarely use softsynths for pads. ... Lots of lush lexicon reverb and delay add to the ambience.
and even some presets ie. great pad for commercial VST Korg Polysix - quick example:
