Rhythm Lab Twin Delay Plugin

Rhythm Lab Twin Delay is a nice delay unit with few unique features. It was designed to create beautiful and original delays, frequently used in such genres as IDM, Experimental, Breaks and especially Dub, as well as genres that use Dub elements: Dub techno, Dubstep, Dubwise and etc.

Twin Delay offers standard delay (four algorithms) effect synced / unsynced with the host tempo, ping pong delay with possiblity to choose the starting point (left or right channel) and some filtering options (Low- and High- Pass Filter).
Additional features are:
1. Smooth knob which softens the attack of delayed sound
2. Drive knob which emulates lamp overdrive.
3. I like "channel delay" option quite a lot. It is possible to set each channel to ie. 1/4 (which results in mono signal, if we don't use ping-pong) and additionally set the delay between the left and right channel. I must admit that I haven't seen such feature in any free delay plugin.

Overall, Twin Delay is a nice alternative for ie. Classic Kjaerhus Delay. If you know any other free (and of course good) delay plugins - use comments :)

ps. Be careful with feedback group of controls (Feedback and Cross-Feedback knob) - setting them to maximum can result in excessive high signal buildup. Or you can, just like me, learn one lesson - during plugin testing use Brick wall limiter on your Master Bus :)
