Another great (changed into freeware) synth by Urs Heckmann (u-he) - Zebralette. It's just one of Zebra2's oscillators packed into some nice features (3 effects, multi stage envelope + LFOs) + clean GUI. By default, Zebralette offers around 170 presets but we can easily find some more patches because Zebra2 patches ... can be imported. Of course the sound will be different, limited to one oscillator but still, it gives plenty of sounds :)Zebralette (especially compared to u-he Tyrell or ACE) is low CPU hungry. Overall, don't be fooled by only one oscillator. It's enough to create some amazing sounds, for example there are few amazing pad presets. And of course the sound quality is lovely...
The idea is to use Zebralette to demonstrate the virtues of Zebra2's oscillators to everybody out there, and perhaps even convince some of them that upgrading to Zebra2 might be a good idea. ;-)I must admit that I'm interested :)
