About Vst Cafe

Site description

Vst Cafe is a blog about music production. It mainly focuses on freeware as well as other products that have good value / price ratio. My mission is to provide selected materials (plugins, video tutorials, presets, samples) that represent some quality. I guess I act a little bit as … google. The difference is that to filter out results I don’t use algorithms but my own brain 🙂

Contact me if:
– you have some interesting articles, videos, plugins – I can’t promise I’ll post them but I’ll read and reply for your emails for sure
– you want to ask about … anything 😉
– you want your commercial product reviewed (and you feel that it has enough quality to be introduced on Vst Cafe 🙂 )
– you want to advertise on Vst Cafe

I don’t write blog entries about your latest, commercial plugins / samples released. There are other websites better at this stuff, ie. http://www.rekkerd.org. Please, try to understand, I don’t want to turn Vst Cafe into “latest released commercial plugins” website.

Help running Vst Cafe

There’s one person behind VST Cafe website – it’s me 🙂 Managing such blog takes quite a lot of time. My daily tasks are:
– finding some free, cheap vst plugins, samples, presets and testing them
– finding valuable articles, tutorials
– publish articles (which means, writing post, creating and uploading some necessary files – such as mp3 previews which I like a lot. I’m not a native english speaking person so quite often it takes longer than it should 🙂 )

It’s a free blog but running such blog is not free. I need to pay hosting bills, domains, soundcloud account (when I finally buy the license). So if you can, please donate. Even the smallest donation is helpful.
